Hello all! My name is Shradha Silori and I am currently a junior at Wells International School. It is a pleasure to serve as your chair of DISEC at THAIMUN VII. I have been involved in MUN for the past 3 years, and this will be my third time as a chair! MUN has been an incredible platform that helped me discover the challenging situations faced on a daily basis by millions of people around the world. Through attending various conferences, I have learned that there are different outlooks to the same issue, and there are various solutions if implemented with professionalism and persistence. I have been a part of various conferences, I have trained middle schoolers for MUN, and I have helped organize conferences as well, and it has been a great learning experience so far. Through this conference, I hope to inspire and guide delegates towards understanding the goal of their presence at this conference, and walk with them on the path to become global citizens.

Hello there, everyone! My name is Emil Steinke, and I am a junior high school student from Manila Xiamen International School.
Originally, I am from Germany, however, for the last couple of years I have been living on the beautiful island of Xiamen, China. Here, I have not only been introduced to the excruciating life under the IB Diploma Programme (just kidding), but have also made wonderful experiences and met many friends thanks to Model United Nations and debate. So far, my own MUN journey has taken me to being a delegate, an Assistant Director, and a Secretary General. THAIMUN VII will be my seventh time joining a Model United Nations conference. I strongly believe in the benefits of participating in MUN and debates, as it was public speaking that helped me grow out of my shy self. Therefore, I cannot wait to witness you on your own journey! |
