ANNA BINABDULLAH

Anna Binabdullah (Anna) Chair Biography (she/her)

Hi all! I’m Anna and I’m a senior (G12) studying at CIS. Before I go off about myself, I would like to give a warm welcome to everyone who’s attending ECOSOC as a delegate this year! I’m super excited to chair my first in-person conference at THAIMUN! MUN was an eye-opening experience for me, and I love how new friendships are formed and we all get to socialise with like-minded people throughout the few days of the conference.
I love reading, drawing, writing, basically anything that’s creative. If you watch Rick and Morty or Bo Burnham please come talk to me because I’m sure we’ll become instant friends. I wish you all the best of luck and that you all have fun preparing for the conference!

*Please feel free to email anna.binabdullah@gmail.com/ ig @annabnl if there are any concerns!

Greetings, honorable delegate, in such a vibrant world.

Welcome to the ECOSOC committee, the frontier of the global trend! ECOSOC may be one of the most fascinating but challenging committees, especially amid a vibrant economic period. However, do not panic! We (chairs) are at your service to guarantee fruitful debates throughout the journey. Everyone can shine in this committee if one’s prepared, respectful, and confident.

I am Joon-young Lim (Jimmy) from Shattuck-St. Mary’s Foret City International School. It is my first time being incumbent for chairing, and also my first time doing an in-room conference. So I might often be stunned by some confusion. If you feel anxious about blundering during the debate, you are not the only one!
Outside of the floor, you will find me as a humorous gigachad who is barely not considered a nerd (I believe).

Lastly, I cannot wait to see you in Bangkok! If you have any issues with the chair’s report, position paper, and debate procedure, feel free to reach out to me via:
