Hello, my name is Sara. I’m a 10th grade student at International School Bangkok and I will be one of your ICJ Presidents for this year’s THAIMUN conference. As a participant in MUN since 5th grade, I have found vast development in my confidence as a public speaker by actively participating in debate and voicing my opinion. This is the first time that I will chair a conference and I can safely say that I am looking forward to the challenge and the new experience. I am extremely passionate about animal rights and the conservation of our environment, I am also a running and swimming enthusiast! I can’t wait to meet everyone and participate in another successful THAIMUN conference full of passionate delegates and interesting debate.
Hello! My name is Sapal Chapagain, and I am currently a junior at Wells International School. In this conference, I will be acting as an ICJ president. I started doing MUN in grade eight, three years ago with WISMUN I as my first conference. I was the delegate of Iraq in HRC. Ever since then, I have attended thirteen conferences. For the past few years, I have always loved being a delegate. I love taking a stance on something, and defending it with all my stubbornness, or proving why the opposition's proposal won’t work. This makes for a great debate, however, does not allow me to take an unbiased understanding of the topic. This is why I have chosen to chair in THAIMUN. This conference since I will not be debating, I plan to take a neutral stance on the stance given, and instead only form judgements based on the arguments offered. I look forward to meeting everyone!
