Hi everyone, welcome to IOC! I am Henry, a Senior at Concordian, and one of your chairs for this year’s THAIMUN. I’ve chaired a couple of times now, but I’m particularly enthusiastic about this topic we have and trust that with Dash as a co-chair, everything will be smooth sailing. As for non-MUN-related undertakings, I am a huge fan of world tour cycling, and I spend a lot of time rewatching the same sitcoms, among the occasionally pirated movies. I am also on Letterboxd, but you can decide what that says about me.
Anyways, I am so stoked to be one of your chairs this year and look forward to meeting you all. Dash and I will do our absolute best to give you guys an awesome time and a greater appreciation for the topics at hand! If you have questions, do reach out at [email protected]. All the best! |

Hello everyone! I’m Dashiell (Dash for short), a senior at Bangkok Patana School, and I’m thrilled to be one of your chairs at THAIMUNXIII. I was a delegate last year at THAIMUN, so I can sympathize with any nerves you all may have coming into the committee session at such a large conference, but I am determined to ensure you will have the best possible experience in IOC – fun and intellectually-rewarding.
I am originally from Brooklyn, New York, and aside from MUN I am greatly interested in discussing global politics, exploring cities, appreciating good music (rock, folk, jazz), and learning languages: I speak Chinese, and am in the midst of learning Arabic and Japanese. I am so excited for the debate that we will build together, and my email – [email protected] – is always open for any questions you may have between now and March |
