Greetings, delegates!
Hello ThaiMUN XII Delegates! I’m Aaron Zhenyi Lee, a current senior at Ekamai International School and the president of UNSC for this conference! By the time ThaiMUN XII rolls around, it will have been my 20th conference. I started MUN during my freshman year of High School, during the online era of conferences due to the pandemic. ThaiMUN has always held a special place in my heart, having attended ThaiMUN IX as my 3rd ever conference in the HSOC committee. There, I met some of my closest friends, with whom I still keep in touch today, and I hope this conference will be just as memorable and meaningful as it is for me. I am eager to hear your insights and proposed solutions to these pressing challenges. I want to assure you that we, as chairs, are committed to making this conference a constructive and educational experience. We will support and encourage you throughout all stages—from your pre-conference preparation to your contributions during the conference and the post-conference discussions and celebrations! Though not looking to make politics or international relations the path my future entails, I have always been fascinated by history, tactics, and war, which makes it interesting to note that this will be my tenth conference in a security or conflict-related committee (this includes UNSC, HSC, and HSOC). Outside of MUN, I am a colossal avgeek, pianist/composer, debater, and a very fun and goofy person (I think?). If you have any questions or concerns regarding this conference or any other matter (genuinely anything at all!) Feel free to contact me through any social media. Can't wait to see you all very soon! |
Hello delegates! My name is Grace, I’m currently a senior at Wells International School and this is my second chairing experience. I’ve been part of MUN for just over a year now and am incredibly excited to chair at THAIMUN XII. Since this might be my last conference, I’m excited to make it a memorable one for all of us. I really enjoy the atmosphere in this community and can’t wait to see what this conference has in store.
Outside of MUN, I’m passionate about leadership and helping others. You might have seen me at various events, and if you were at last year’s ServICE conference, you probably remember me as the person dancing around on stage as the MC. As for hobbies, I’d love to say I have some, but as an IBDP student free time doesn’t exist basically. Though when I do manage to find a moment, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and geeking out about biology (I’m a huge biology nerd lol). If you have any concerns at all feel free to reach out to my insta @gracey_hmh or email me at [email protected]. See everyone there |
