Hello! My name is Odele and I’m a senior in Bangkok Patana School. THAIMUN marks my seventh conference and it is my pleasure to serve as your chair for the WHO committee, especially with its relevance to the pandemic that has affected us all over the past year. Ever since joining MUN, I’ve had the chance to not only grow as a public speaker and debater, but also develop a different view of the world and the issues we face. I hope that this conference will provide all of you with the same experience, as well as a chance to meet new friends! As a chair, I will strive to foster collaboration and thought-provoking discussions, as well as ensure that the ideas of all delegates are represented. Outside of MUN, you can also find me reading crime fiction, learning tongue twisters and drinking tea. I look forward to meeting everyone in March!

Hi everyone! My name is Bloomy. I’m from ISB, and I’m a sophomore this year. My first MUN experience was at Georgetown University when I was in 7th grade, but I didn’t actually say anything the entire camp, so I wouldn’t count it. My first serious MUN experience was at ISB my freshman year. My other passions would probably be literature (if you love Jane Austen, Fitzgerald, or the Bronte sisters, please talk to me), and molecular biology relating to medical fields, hence my choice of being a chair for the WHO. I am extremely honored to be one of your chairs for this year’s WHO of THAIMUN! I’ve been meaning to participate since last year, but it sadly got cancelled due to COVID-19, so I am very excited for this year’s conference. I hope we can have an enjoyable time together, debating international issues, but also form new friendships as well!
