Hello delegates! My name is Meredith and I am grateful to be your HSOC frontroom chair for THAIMUN XII! This will be my second time chairing and my second year at THAIMUN. I am currently in year 10 (grade 9) at RISB. I have been doing MUN for the past 10 months and I have genuinely enjoyed every minute of it! I am really looking forward to seeing you all at the conference, best of luck to each and every one of you. HSOC is truly the best committee in all of MUN (I am totally not biassed), and one of the most creative ones you can join. I truly hope I can make this an enjoyable experience for all of you, whether this is your 20th, or your 1st conference! “Just be yourself, there is no one better” - Taylor Swift, I believe, if you stick by that, you will all be amazing.See you soon!

Hello! My name is Jinny (she/her) and I’m a junior at International Community School in Bangkok, Thailand. I am incredibly honoured to be able to be your HSOC backroom chair at THAIMUN. This is my third year doing MUN and my 3rd conference as a chair. I love everything about history so HSOC is a top committee for me personally. HSOC also has a special place in my heart as I started MUN with HSOC as my first committee. It’s an incredible full circle moment to be able to chair it at the biggest conference in Thailand.
Outside of MUN, I do theatre. I enjoy singing and acting, but also info dumping about musical theatre in general. I also draw, where you can see my glorious work in my instagram (attached below). Apart from that, I spend most of my time chronically online, collecting fountain pens, and listening to music! I cannot wait to meet all the delegates and have a fruitful yet fun time in HSOC. MUN is all about connecting and making positive changes so let’s make that a reality at THAIMUN XII. If you need to contact me, feel free to DM me at @jinny.anydots on ig or email me at [email protected]. See you at THAIMUN XII! |

Hello I am Dzaky Adiann Merza Nugroho, but you can call me Zac. I am currently a grade 10, sophomore, student in Wells International School Bangkok and have been part of the MUN community in Thailand for almost 3 years now. I look forward to charing you all and I strive to create a safe and comfortable space for you all. I remember my first conference where I felt scared and too shy to make any speeches or POI's. As I chair I aim to avoid that with all of you. Outside of MUN, I spend a lot of time asleep or stressing over work, but when I aim to have fun I like to walk around the city and take photos when I can. I hope you all have a wonderful time and create new fun and enjoyable memories. See you soon!
