Hi MPs! I’ll be one of your chairs for UKPC this year. I’m currently a Junior at Concordian International School. I’ve been to somewhere around 14 conferences, having chaired or organized 6 of them. I’ve always loved to learn about, discuss, and debate global affairs. Some would probably call me a nerd 😱
I’ve always had an affinity towards the UK, given that I’ve always watched and played football (Up the Chels!). That love initially transferred to an interest in the fiery debates and PMQs I saw on Youtube, but morphed into a greater appreciation of UK politics as a whole. The UK has arguably the oldest parliamentary tradition anywhere in the world–some would say the birthplace of pluralism. That’s the approach I want to see reflected in our debates! As an avid drummer in a pop-rock band (Hydrogen!!!), I’d like to drum up support for the act of reaching out to your chairs. I want to ensure that you all feel ready for debate, so please do so. Anyways, toodeloo! (or whatever they say) |

Hello MPs and welcome to the UKPC! My name is Aiko, I’m a junior at Patumwan Demonstration School and I’ll be your backroom chair for this conference. This is my fourth time chairing, and I’m thrilled to be doing it at THAIMUN XII! I started MUN almost two years ago and I love how quickly it can bring people together across the span of just a few conference days. Whether you are a new or well-experienced delegate, I can assure you that your contributions will be valued in our discussions.
Outside of the conference room, I’m a huge Formula 1 fan and will ditch (almost) everything to enjoy race weekend. Other than that, I love anything related to film, acting, and the arts. I’m also a competitive debater—so if you happen to spot me at debate tourneys, come say hi! If you have any concerns or questions, please don't hesitate to contact me via email at [email protected] or on Instagram @aiiraa.k. Looking forward to seeing both new and familiar faces—wishing every one of you the very best in your preparations! |
Hey MPs! My name is Brendan, and I am honored to be one of your chairs for this year’s THAIMUN conference. I am a sophomore at King’s College and have been actively involved in Model United Nations for the past three years. Over that time, I have attended six conferences, each of which has sharpened my ability to think on the spot, and appreciate the nuances of diplomacy in action.
Beyond MUN, I enjoy football, tennis, and exploring different academic fields. Whether it’s analyzing historical events, discussing international policies, or diving into the sciences, I love challenging myself with new perspectives. Sports have also played a huge role in shaping my discipline and teamwork—skills that I believe are just as valuable in MUN as they are on the field. If you ever have any questions—whether about procedure, debate strategies, or just about MUN in general—please don’t hesitate to ask. |
