Hello everyone, My name is Saranda Fischer—yes, like the renowned chess player. Who knows, perhaps there’s a family connection! I’m currently a junior at Ekamai International School, and this marks my third year participating in Model United Nations and my third THAIMUN conference. That alone speaks volumes about the excellence of THAIMUN. Having attended over 25 conferences over the years, I can confidently say that THAIMUN is among the very best—if not the best—conference for delegates. As the Head Chair for UNOOSA, I am excited to contribute to an experience that is not only memorable but also engaging and enjoyable for all. Outside of MUN, I’m a full-time athlete. So, if you catch me limping or hopping around, don’t be alarmed—I promise I like to joke about it! Looking forward to an incredible conference with all of you.

Hi delegates,
My name is Pavornwan Suwannapong, but you can call me Pond—yes, like the lake. I'm truly honoured to serve as your Deputy Chair for UNOOSA this year at THAIMUN XII. Presently at the place where it all began, I'm attending Year 11 at Brighton College Bangkok serving as MUN club president. Model UN is one of the few spaces where you could be passionately debating global issues, brainstorm solutions to real-world problems, and still have a good laugh with fellow delegates over lunch. It is a very different environment where creativity meets diplomacy. I really look forward to seeing what ideas you all bring into this committee. When I'm not engaged in MUN, some of my other interests include history, chemistry, and the performing arts. So if I get a little too dramatic when explaining the rules of procedure, feel free to blame my theatre background for that.Whether this is your first conference or you're practically an MUN veteran, the most important thing is to have fun, learn something new, and maybe make a few friends along the way. And if you ever get stuck mid-speech, just remember: adding "furthermore" always buys you a few precious seconds to think. If you have any questions or need any help, don't hesitate to reach out to us, chairs. We're here to support you every step of the way! :)
