Hello UNSC delegates,

It is my pleasure to welcome you into the committee where all the power lies and this power will now be in your nation's hands.

I am Naomi Duklan from International Pioneers, currently in year 12, and this year ThaiMUN (X) head chair for UNSC.

I have been a delegate for the past many years and this year look to explore myself as a chair. After having seen and acting as a delegate under many chairs, I have learned and understood my roles, where to fill in so that delegates can have a smooth and productive debate session. As your chair, I will do my best to help out where needed and guide you throughout the sessions.

I hope both the delegates, I and my co-chair can give you a greater experience so that you can go home satisfied.

If you wish to contact me for any query, or help, or just to have a talk you can message me on my insta @naomi_v.2 or my email naomi.duk@ips.ac.th

Looking forward to our session!

Dear all the future delegates of the UNSC committee, a very warm greeting! First, I would like to welcome you to the UNSC committee as its chair! I personally believe your active engagement in this committee would result in productive learning and would, undeniably, prove to be a milestone in your Model United Nations journey. I assure you all that this conference would help boost your confidence and all the conference days would go exuberant. You will enjoy debating, lobbying, and resolving international issues and problems and besides, make a bunch of friends. We will work collectively by following the protocols of THAIMUN in committee sessions. My Chair and I will be guiding you through this of your MUN journey.
With this brief note of conviction, let me introduce myself. My name is Rhishav Lamichhane, a grade Nine (9) student from Reliance Public School, Kathmandu, Nepal. I started my MUN journey at the age of 12 and I have participated in altogether 10 conferences of which I have chaired in 3 so far. I have a strong belief that my experiences of taking part in various national and international conferences would come to be meaningful and prominent in our committee at THAIMUN too.
I would be glad to receive your queries and address if you have any regarding the chair report or committee proceedings to do so you can either mail me @ risabchhane2020@gmail.com or can access in Instagram at @rhishav.lamichhane.
