Raheel Parvez

Hi delegates,

My name is Raheel and I will be your president for the UNSC at THAIMUNXIII. I am currently a junior at the International School of Bangkok and I would say that MUN has been an integral part of my high school journey and has taught me a lot about the mechanics of international relations. THAIMUN has always been one of my favourite competitions here in Thailand :). Outside of MUN, I am an avid Python programmer who likes making machine learning models and simulations for fun. I also love extemporaneous speaking for any of my NSDA members out there. I know how nerve-wracking MUN can be for any first time delegates and even senior delegates, and as a chair I hope to foster a welcoming environment where all of you can learn! Please feel free to ask any questions via my email - [email protected]

Greetings delegates,

I’m Harry, and I will be assisting Raheel as the Vice President for this UNSC committee. I’m a sophomore at Satit Kaset International Program. I joined MUN back in junior high, and it has been torturing me since. For the past 2 years, MUN has taught me many things that are beneficial to my academic career and day-to-day life. This THAIMUNXII conference will mark my third time chairing, honorable mention best chair. Outside MUN, I so if there is any feedback, please do let me know. Outside of MUN, I am a huge football fan, especially of Man United, and I love history, which is why I joined MUN. As someone who has been overwhelmed by the pressure or intensity of the debate, I understand the difficulty and the pressure that is devouring you, whether you’re a first-time participant or not. So if there are any concerns or questions, feel free to message us chairs. As your chair, I hope to see a plethora of fun debates, and I wish all of you could learn a thing or two from this conference. You can contact me via email: [email protected] or via Instagram: Harry_na_krab. The most important thing is to have fun. See you at the conference!
